Overview
Archive NoteNo-limit freediving permits a weighted sled or bar for descent and buoyant aids for ascent, unlike constant-weight disciplines in which the diver swims under their own power.
Streeter's attempt lasted 3 minutes 26 seconds. At the time, the 160-metre result also exceeded the then-current men's official no-limit mark; men's and women's record categories remain separate.

Basis: direct confirmation by an authority
Guinness directly records Tanya Streeter's women's no-limit freedive of 160 m on 17 August 2002. The record uses a positive descent depth, where greater values mean deeper dives; it is distinct from other disciplines and the men's category.
