Overview

Archive Note

Shanghai Metro Line 11 runs from Jiading North across the city to Disney Resort, with a separate branch from Jiading Xincheng via Anting to Huaqiao in Kunshan, Jiangsu. It provides cross-provincial urban rapid transit.

UITP's international metro statistics reported an 82.4-km length, making it the longest in the sample. A 2026 Shanghai government transit feature repeated the world-longest single-line designation. The quoted mileage covers the branched route system and does not represent one continuous train ride through every segment.
