Overview

Archive Note

Legend of the Seas was built by Meyer Turku in Finland and delivered on 10 June 2026, entering service that summer as the third Icon-class cruise ship.

Royal Caribbean Group's investor fleet table gives Legend, Icon and Star of the Seas the same 248,663 GT figure. The US Coast Guard's vessel financial responsibility record also reports 248,663 GT for Legend under IMO 9888560.

Some builder and marketing material describes Legend at about 250,800 GT, a different published figure. This record deliberately uses official fleet and registered tonnage values and explains the three-way tie rather than claiming one ship is uniquely larger.
