World's Highest-Voltage Power Transmission Project
A briefing published by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology states that the Changji-Guquan ±1,100 kV UHVDC transmission line, rated at ±1,100 kV, is the highest-voltage transmission line in the world.

Overview
Archive NoteThe line runs from the Changji converter station in Xinjiang to the Guquan converter station in Xuancheng, Anhui, crossing Gansu, Ningxia, Shaanxi and Henan, with a total route length of 3,293 km.
It is rated at ±1,100 kV with a transmission capacity of 12,000 MW; full-voltage transmission began in January 2019, making China the first country able to deliver gigawatt-scale power over 3,000-5,000 km.
The project is also described as the world's largest-capacity and longest-distance UHVDC transmission project.
