Overview
Archive NoteDiscovered through transits in 2017, KELT-9b orbits an exceptionally hot A/B-type star every 1.48 days.
The dayside brightness temperature is inferred from radiation in observed bands, not a planet-wide mean. Its estimated equilibrium temperature is about 4,050 ± 180 K.
