Overview
Archive NoteRussky Bridge crosses the Eastern Bosphorus strait to connect Vladivostok's mainland districts with Russky Island in the Russian Far East.
Its 1,104 m central span is the relevant cable-stayed bridge record metric. This is distinct from the overall bridge or approach-road length, which can be reported using different boundaries.
The Russian Ministry of Transport reports that traffic operated in test mode from 2 July 2012 and that the official traffic-opening ceremony took place on 1 August 2012.
