Its rated ascending speed is 1,260 m/min (21 m/s; 75.6 km/h) with a rated descending speed of 600 m/min; it travels about 440 m from the ground floor to the hotel lobby on the 95th floor in roughly 42 seconds.
On 10 September 2019 the elevator entered commercial service and was certified by Guinness World Records as the world's fastest elevator.
